Conference Parent Day

Hey, parents and guardians! Are you looking for good advice and tips to help support your students? This event is just for you! You will spend the day listening to a great speaker and joining fun group sessions. We will talk about the real challenges and cool opportunities of being a parent. You will go home with ideas you can actually use, feel more confident, and know you are not alone on this parenting adventure!

Learn strategies to build partnerships with school staff and engage in all aspects of your child’s education. Ask your child’s school about how they can help support you in attending this conference.

Parents & families who register for this event will:

• Attend a general session with a keynote speaker, Dr. Adolph Brown

• Attend a provided luncheon session with presenters specifically selected for parents.

• Attend breakout sessions designed for parents, guardians, and family members of students.

• Engage with exhibitors and organizations that provide resources and services for families.

• Receive a conference bag and t-shirt, along with information on student and family resources and more exciting opportunities.

We celebrate the joy and uniqueness children bring to our families! Our Parent Day is designed as a space for adults to connect, learn, and engage with one another. For this reason, children under the age of 18 are not permitted to attend or remain unattended at the Waco Convention Center. Please note that childcare accommodations will not be available for this event. Thank you for understanding!
