The Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) Statewide Initiative is excited to announce a shift from this newsletter! We would like to introduce the Partnership Playbook, a newsletter reimagined to help educators build stronger connections with families.

Why the Change? We recognize that educators need specific, high-leverage tools to partner effectively with parents. While this newsletter is no longer intended for a parent audience, its goal remains the same: increasing family engagement across the state by empowering those on the front lines.

What to Expect in Each Issue: The newsletter is designed for quick reading and immediate application, featuring dedicated sections for:

• Elementary Teachers: Practical tips for building foundational trust.

• Secondary Teachers: Strategies for engaging families of older, more independent students.

• Administrators: Guidance on fostering a campus-wide culture of partnership.

The Bottom Line: By equipping teachers and school leaders with the right resources, we ensure that every family—and every student—benefits from a more connected school community.

Our goal is to shift the parent-teacher dynamic from transactional (problem-focused) to transformational (asset-focused).
